The BK10 dining chair, designed in 1959 by Danish architect Bodil Kjær, was created as part of her innovative Indoor - Outdoor series, conceived to be durable enough for outdoor living and beautiful enough to be used indoors.

The Danish firm Carl Hansen, reissues the BK10 dining chair in untreated teak wood seeking to transfer the warmth of its exclusive designs to the outdoors.

The BK10 chair designed by Bodil Kjær, is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, just as this Danish architect intended. It has a great visual presence given its robust construction that at the same time thanks to its clean and precise lines has a fine appearance, of clear cubist inspiration.

It was designed in 1959 as part of a collection of furniture, in which its proportions were designed to relate to the environment. It has a comfortable inclined seat and arms, all handmade.

In addition to this dining chair, the Kjær Indoor-Outdoor series includes an armchair, a side table, a dining table, a two-seater sofa, a folding sofa and a sun lounger. All seats, chairs and sofas can be supplied with weatherproof cushions.

Material: Untreated solid teak wood.

Available option with upholstered cushion: Canvas 2 fabric / 5453. Composition: 90% new wool, 10% nylon.
