An elliptical table top topped in polished aluminum that is supported by a light steel structure.
The Spuerellipse™ table is a dining table of Fritz Hansen designed by Piet Hein, Bruno Mathsson and Arne Jacobsen.
This elliptical shaped table, as its name suggests, is inspired by a solution to a traffic problem that Piet Hein solved by means of a super elliptical roundabout. This elliptical top is topped with a polished aluminium edge and is accompanied by a light chrome-plated or coated steel structure.
Superellipse comes in a wide variety of finishes, both board and structure, and dimensions.
Available dimensions: Lengths 135, 150, 170, 180, 240 and 300cn.
Board finishes: walnut, Ottawa brown, Bromine grey, Ephesus grey, white, black or grey.
Structure finishes: chrome steel, white coated steel, black, silver grey, bronze brown, nine grey or warm graphite.
