Domo is the table lamp designed by Joe Colombo in 1965. This Karakter Copenhagen model was created looking for a functional and aesthetic design, resorting to the rounded and futuristic shapes that give it a great personality.
Available in Brass or black steel.
Joe Colombo is one of the most recognized figures of Italian industrial design, he created a series of home furnishings produced by different brands that are highly sought after. Most of them stand out for the play of rounded shapes and their daring and futuristic character, which makes them add a touch of personality and character to the spaces where they are introduced.
The Danish brand Karakter has decided to bet on the design of its Domo table lamp, a model created in 1965 by the Italian designer.
At that time Joe Colombo designed several lamps based on the same core shape, looking for functionality and a versatile and flexible design that can be used in different spaces and in different ways, so that each user can adapt it to their needs.
Joe Colombo experimented with new materials and the latest technologies and designed futuristic "living machines," many of which have become icons of a new way of life. One of them is Domo.
