The Model 566 table lamp, minimalist in essence, can be used both as a support light or flexo, as a decorative element illuminating a piece to which you want to give some relevance.
A fantastic design by Gino Sarfatti that leaves no one indifferent.
The Model 566 is a table lamp designed in 1956, where you can clearly see the process of reducing the lamp to the minimum. The body is supported with a simple rubber ring that achieves a perfect fit. The base, which was made of cast iron, is now produced in an alloy of aluminum, magnesium and copper, which provides better corrosion resistance, does not pollute and is recyclable. It has an on/off switch on the base.
The choice of bulb for this luminaire allows for a strictly minimalist configuration since the bulb itself incorporates a reflector and a means of orientation. With semi-silver glass, the Cornalux bulb has been out of production for a few years. Through a special production for the Model 566, Astep brings this classic back to life with modern, long-lasting, energy-efficient LED technology.
