Knoll is the designer furniture firm in charge of producing the Cesca stools designed by Marcer Breuer in 1928,
Cesca stools are born from the designer's obsession with creating furniture that combines craftsmanship with the most industrial materials and processes. For this reason, Breuer combines a chrome tubular steel structure with a rattan seat and backrest in this seat. This version is the one that is produced with machine rod inserts.
Cesca Stool is available in 2 height sizes, in which you can choose between black or natural color.
The Cesca collection by Knoll is a timeless product line, its simple and cozy aesthetics make any environment enriched. Cesca Stool is an original design by Marcel Breuer from 1928, a bet that over the years is still as current as the first day.
In these Cesca stools by Knoll, as with the chairs, there hay a coordination between the artisanal and industrial worlds. To do this, Breuer creates a cantilever structure in chrome-plated tubular steel accompanied by a tensioned artisanal rattan seat with a beech wood frame. This cantilevered structure gives the chair greater comfort and flexibility and marked the world of the four-legged seat.
Rattan inserts are machine-made on the beech wood seat/back frames, available with natural clear lacquer or matt ebonized finish. The structure is made of 25 mm diameter round steel tube with a chrome finish. Glides: Opaque plastic glides shipped with each stool for on-site insertion option for use on hard floors.
Note: The KnollStudio logo and Marcel Breuer's signature are stamped on the base of each Cesca stool.
