Stampa Chair - Kettal

The brothers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec , well-known figures in the world of design, have been in charge of the planning and creation of the Stampa chair for the Spanish outdoor furniture firm Kettal.

Stampa was born as a result of creating a resistant and delicate aluminum chair that can be used in both indoor and outdoor environments. The idea is that the chair reflects the passage of time and organically reflects a small variation in tone.

Kettal has developed with the Stampa chair an aluminium chair that combines several manufacturing techniques.

The injection-molded ring connects the perforated seat, back and hydroformed legs and reinforces the assembly. The calyx-shaped metal casing is inhabited by carefully organized holes made by the technique of punching metal sheets. This allows for delicate shapes to be created that recall textile sensations and are robust enough to stand the test of time.

The Stampa chair from Kettal offers an additional seat cushion. (Not included).
