AJ52 Society Table - Carl Hansen

The AJ52 Society Table was created in 1952 by Arne Jacobsen and produced by Carl Hansen & Søn for the New York office of the American-Scandinavian Foundation, resulting in a fusion of Bauhaus, functionalism and industrial design, uniting enduring elegance with industrial aesthetics. A timeless example of the Danish architect's functionalist approach to design.

In 1952 Arne Jacobsen was at the peak of his career. He took advantage of new techniques and materials to create a light and slender desk.

The AJ52 society table is available in two sizes and the six-drawer unit can be mounted on either side of the desk. The shelf and the integrated lamp are optional.

It is made of solid wood, veneered and steel. The top of the table is covered in leather, the drawer unit combines wood and veneer, on top a container for storing documents was placed, made of wood with glass sides and an integrated lamp in brushed stainless steel.

The AJ52 desk is available in two sizes, with or without the table compartment and desk lamp. The suspended six-drawer unit, which adds to the overall impression of lightness, can be mounted under the desk on the left or right side of the table of your choice.

Finishes: Oiled Walnut / Oiled Oak. Upholstery on: F leather Freja Black 2002 / Brown 2068.

Legs in stainless steel finished in solid wood.

The drawer can be fixed on the right or left side of the table, made of wood veneer and solid wood.

The brushed stainless steel lamp is equipped with an E26 / E27 electrical socket depending on the country.
