Bertrand - Memphis Milano

Bertrand sideboard, is a sideboard/console, it also works very well as a bar cabinet designed by Massimo Iosa Ghini for Memphis Milano, in 1967. It is an example of his Bolidismo Movement.

Bolidism was a short-lived Italian design trend "bolide", an old word for asteroids or the shooting star. Influenced by Italian Futurism and the American Streamline Art Modern, it looks futuristic and retro at the same time.
