The A811 floor lamp was designed by Alvar Aalto to Artek in 1965, a delicate and artistic design, with noble finishes and a luxurious presence, but well conceived, it illuminates but does not dazzle.
The A811 floor lamp from Artek combines a nickel-plated or polished brass collar with the mast upholstered in black leather, featuring a hand-turned shade that prevents glare by emitting light evenly. The A811 lamp was the latest addition to Alvar Aalto's range of floor lamps.
