The world-renowned Spanish designer Jaime Hayón has worked with Fritz Hansen to create today's answer to a tomorrow's armchair, where you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The armchair is called Ro, which in Danish means tranquility.

Having time for reflection is a luxury in today's world, we are all very busy and have little time to be quiet, it is a piece of furniture that offers a space for reflection in our busy urban lives. In any case, Ro is much more than an armchair, it is wide, where you can relax, change position, read the newspaper, spend some time with the computer or the possibility of having a child by your side and create a new comfort zone.

The design of the shell is elegant and simple, at the same time pleasing to the eye and to the body, offering great comfort. Moreover, the shape of the shell gives you the option to be part of what's going on in the room or relax in your own private space. It is a reinterpretation of the classic wing chair. It is inspired by the shapes of the human body. The result was intended to be an armchair that was comfortable and beautiful. My goal was to create a slim and elegant body that encourages reflection and comfort," says Jaime Hayon and seeing the result there is no doubt that he has achieved it.
