The 3-seater FAVN sofa designed by the Spanish designer Jaime Hay for Fritz Hansen combines an upholstered structure with brushed aluminum legs. It is accompanied by two decorative cushions.
We offer 2 finishes:
Upholstery light grey version: Hallingdal 130 frame, Seat and back cushions: Canvas 124, Decorative cushions: Divina Melange 120
Light pink upholstery: Steelcut frame: 605, Seat and back cushions: Canvas 614, Decorative cushions: Divina MD 613
FAVN means embrace in Danish, it is designed with great attention to detail and consists of only a few elements. "I wanted to create a sofa that hugs you, something very organic, that's why we call it FAVN," says Jaime Hayón.
It is an evolution of Fritz Hansen's design language, which brings together the qualities of Spanish and Danish design. The artist-designer's work is characterized by its respect for colors, craftsmanship and technique.
The large rounded shell rests on small, but elegant legs, while the seat and backrest together with the decorative cushions, combined with the use of three textures, constitute strong visual layers. The sofa has no edges, it is round and soft. "I wanted the sofa to be based on a shell. A shell is the outside, soft and cozy on the inside. Protective and warm."
