Originally designed in 1954, the Florence Knoll sofa collection has become a clear example of modern design aesthetics.
The Florence collection transfers to all its products a chrome steel frame or structure that is complemented by upholstery that gives the most comfortable and welcoming appearance to the seat pieces. Showing a simple and rational design, a hallmark that the designer took from her mentor, Mies Van der Rohe.
The Florence Knoll Relax sofa and armchair is made with an internal solid wood structure, exposed metal legs in high-caliber steel with a glossy chrome finish, No-Sag spring seat suspension and soft seat and back cushions.
The Knoll Studio logo and Florence Knoll signature are stamped on the base frame.
The Florence sofa and armchair are Knoll Clean Air GOLD certified.
