The Layers 5 rug is made with Afghan wool using the Kilim technique applied in less density than usual. It is a design by Mathias Hahn for the manufacturer Nanimarquina.
The Capas 5 collection introduces a new form of Kilim spinning by hand, so it can present irregularities and rustic finishes.
It can be dry cleaned.

The Kilim Layers 5 belongs to the Nanimarquina rug collection, with a design that combines "lights and shadows" through layers. Each rug has a main color, a complementary tone, and a darker gradient in the composition creates the effect of a shadow cast on the floor. The designer's goal was to create a simple, lightweight rug that had a casual feel, while also being complex in its use of colors and depth formation.
The Capas collection integrates a new type of loose Kilim structure, which allows the colors of the warp and weft to be mixed in a way that defines a different density. The result of this created texture gives an effect of light and dark and great depth without being heavy.
