Chair designed by Frank Gehry for Vitra.
The seat, backrest and body are made of corrugated cardboard.
The edges in hard cardboard.
The Wiggle Side Chair has a sculptural shape and is not only extraordinarily comfortable, but also solid and sturdy. Frank Gehry is known for using unconventional materials. With the "Easy Edges" furniture series, he managed to give a new aesthetic dimension to a material as everyday as cardboard. Despite their surprisingly simple effect, the "Easy Edges" have been built with the care of an architect and are very robust and stable. Thanks to the revision of its world of colors, Gehry now offers a new dimension for "Easy Edges".
Corrugated cardboard, side elements made from a sheet of natural pressed fiber.
