Medina Rug - Nanimarquina

The Medina Carpet is a return to the origins. Inspired by the rugs of yesteryear, this collection, made using the kilim technique, recovers the essence of the rug, both in terms of its texture and its use. For desert nomads, a house is created from a carpet, as carpets originally served to protect people from the ground. They represented an object of daily use that, in addition to providing comfort, delimited the space.

Over time, the carpet has become a decorative element and a vehicle for cultural messages. The Medina collection represents the transformation of tradition into contemporaneity. Its classic essence is achieved thanks to its artisanal production in the north of Pakistan using a very old and traditional technique such as kilim.

It is recommended to vacuum at least once a week. Prevent stains from drying and apply the most appropriate solution to remove them. Do not take carpets to the dry cleaners too often. If it is essential, make sure that they are specialized dry cleaners. Dry clean.
