The Quill L rug, designed by Nao Tamura, is the large size of the Quill collection by Nanimarquina, inspired by a freehand drawn bird feather. Quill is an understanding of beauty that resides in the modest, the rustic, the imperfect. The so-called Japanese wabi sabi philosophy is so constant in Tamura's work.
