Silhouette is a rug design designed by the Madrid artist Jaime Hay for the design firm Nanimarquina.
The aesthetics of the Silhouette rug are characterized by the originality of its strokes that represent several imaginary characters of the author.
Choose from 4 available sizes: 120 x 150 (wall hanging); 170 x 240; 200 x 300 or 300 x 400 centimeters (on request). If you are interested in special sizes or the 250x350 size , please contact us.
The Silhouette rug represents the imaginative character and genius of its author Jaime Hayón. Silouette's design is made up of thin strokes of color that intertwine to form different faces. If you look closely at this piece, 9 imaginary characters can be seen from any point of view, creating a special joint composition. With this proposal, the technique of hand embroidery on kilim Nanimarquina introduced, resulting in a piece of exceptional design, to be placed in any public or private space.
Dimensions: Width 120 x length 150 (version suitable as vertical wall tapestry. Includes sewn-in fabric sleeves for hanging); Width 170 x length 240; Width 200 x length 300 and width 300 x length 400 centimeters.
Materials: 100% hand-spun Afghan wool and wool from New Zealand. Non-slip included.
Technique: Hand loom - kilim.
Cleaning and care tips: It can be dry cleaned. It is recommended to vacuum frequently and clean stains before they dry. If necessary, take to a specialized dry cleaner.
