Its main feature is the 30 sterling silver inlays on its top and extensions that mark the capacity of people at the table.
House of Finn Juhl is the Danish firm in charge of producing the exclusive original designs of architect Finn Juhl, a pioneer in design and decoration. Creator of a wide variety of furniture that presents an attractive and luxurious aesthetic in addition to fulfilling the function for which it was created to perfection.
The Silver dining or joint table designed in 1948 stands out for its oval shape with the possibility of extending thanks to two additional leaves while the frame remains in the same position. Although originally created in a material for structure and board, two different woods were later combined with a darker frame and a lighter frame.
The table is classic and extravagant due to its fine details, such as its 30 silver inlays, scattered on the table like a blanket of stars. The positioning of the silver inlays is far from a coincidence. They clearly indicate whether the table can accommodate 4, 6, 8 or 10 people. With the two additional leaves, the table seats 14 people.
The first variant is in walnut as originally shown. The second comes with a teak table in an oak frame.
This table is also available without silver inlays, if you are interested in this model contact us.
