Principal Table is the dining table designed in 1961 by Bodil Kjaer, currently produced by Karakter Copenhagen.
Its warm and elegant appearance is due to the use of oak or walnut wood and also stands out for simple lines and right angles that encourage horizontality along the large board it offers, perfect for creating a large dining room or a meeting room.
Karakter Copenhagen is in charge of producing the Main table, an original design from 1961 by the designer Bodil Kjær, one of the pioneers and great representatives of mid-century Scandinavian design.
As a proposal for the Elements of Architecture, the designer presented the Principal collection, consisting of a dining table and an upholstered chair to match a very contemporary presence, which seeks new solutions for the interior of the modern home.
The Principal dining table by Karakter is made of solid wood and features a clear shape, repeating a simple angle along the table legs and table ends, while the dining chair contrasts with its circular seat and beautifully upholstered, gently rounded backrest.
You can use this table as a dining table, creating a large gathering around this model, thanks to its generous measurements, or you can also use it as a meeting table or as a large office desk.
