The BM71 Library table by Fredericia is a design by Børge Mogensen.
It debuted in 1958 at the Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition becoming an emblem of the Mogensen functionality. Library table stands out for the versatility of its extendable design that allows it to be used in dining rooms, executive spaces and desks.
It is made of lacquered or oiled oak wood and in a single dimension.
The BM71 Mogensen table is an extremely functional piece thanks to the articulation of the sculptural base that allows its dimension to be extended up to twice and served in a multitude of locations. Inspired by the concept of the English gateleg table of the Baroque, every detail of the Library Table by Fredericia has a precise function in correlation with its use. In addition, the purity of Library Table's lines and the release of visual saturation contribute to its iconic status.
