Friend Lamp - Meritalia

The Friend Lamp, designed by Gaetano Pesce and produced by Meritalia in the Edizioni del Pesce collection, is a lamp that fuses art and functionality. Its organic and anthropomorphic shape evokes the figure of a friendly being, hence its name.

Its design challenges traditional lamps, not only providing light, but also an emotional experience. The asymmetrical shape and soft contours move away from the rigidity of conventional lamps, making it an object that invites interaction. Pesce uses the Friend Lamp to explore his vision of a close and accessible design, where objects transcend their practical function and become "friends" of the everyday environment, inviting us to reflect on the connection that can exist between people and objects.
