Bolita was born in an era as digital as ours in which you buy at the click of a button and the screens are slidable. However, the Bolita lamp arises from the melancholy of human contact inviting us to touch its light and modulate it. Its design is as simple as it is magical: a round base rests on its central axis the LED source that is wrapped by a glass ball that allows it to move across the surface. By moving it, we dim or enhance the intensity of its light, making it a captivating and friendly idea that everyone wants to try. The Bolita lamp is a design by the Kaschkasch Studio that seeks interaction with the user.
Materials: Steel base lacquered in white or shadow grey; Diffuser of blown opal glass and magnetized to the base. Switch located at the base.
