The Totem stool is a new interpretation of the traditional shapes of the typical bar seat that also becomes a decorative object. The Totem stool is produced in two heights and multiple finish options. We propose the version with an upholstered seat in Step and Step Melange (cat.3), for the option of wood or other upholstery please contact us.
The Totem collection by Sancal arises from the first collaboration between the firm and the Belgian artist Sylvain Willenz. Its design reinterprets the conventional shapes of a stool and a high bar table through creative language and sophistication. Totem of Sancal translates into a mundane construction, of clean sculptural forms that transcends the mere element of furniture to decorative pieces with a very modern minimalist aesthetic. The Totem stool rises from a flat round base, followed by a firm straight, a slender central ring (which serves as a footrest) and the oval seating surface that enhances the comfort and functionality of the design. The Totem stool from Sancal uses various finishes in its two manufacturing heights. We propose the option upholstered in Step, for other finishes or the oak wood finish, contact us.
Materials: F1 steel structure lacquered in colors. Floor protection for carpet. Upholstered seat NOT removable made of DM board covered with CMHR foam 30kg. Step and Step Melange Kvadrat textile upholstery (category 3).
