Sumo Sofa - Sancal

Sumo by Sancal is a small collection designed by the Yonoh design studio for the Spanish firm, which presents an armchair and a sofa with an original aesthetic.

Inspired by Japanese culture and aesthetics, the Sumo armchair and sofa by Sancal features a robust body that contracts with the lightness provided by the wooden base, inspired by the clogs worn by sumo wrestlers outside the ring.

On the sumo sofa , the peculiar stitching that surrounds the entire upholstered body stands out, marking the perimeter of the seating area. It should also be noted that the wood chosen for this collection is Ash, which shows a great richness in veins and offers a great possibility of stains, ranging from natural tones, to more vivid and striking tones such as yellow or klein blue.

Despite its large presence, Sumo occupies a very small space thanks to its compact dimensions, so you can put it in a wide variety of spaces, from waiting rooms, a living room, hotels or offices...
