In 1934 Salvador Dalí painted the painting entitled "Portrait of Mae West that can be used as an apartment" and inside that painting you can see that the mouth is this sofa and in 1972 together with Oscar Tusquets, he had it made to reproduce the painting in real scale in a room of the Tatro Dalí Museum in Figueres.

bd barcelona Design sells it in a world exclusive. It took more than thirty years for the industrial production of this sensual design, which is nothing more than a technologically innovative version of that model, to become a reality.

Thanks to rotomolded polyethylene technology and employing a special process that gives the piece a slightly morbid feel, all the realism and expressive force that Dalí had dreamed of for this large-scale mouth in which to sit or immerse yourself has been achieved.
