Arabesque Side Table.
The unique Arabesque table is the work of the architect and designer Carlo Mollino, published by Zanotta, it is one of the icons of Italian design. Its organic shapes are reminiscent of the contorted branches of trees or the antlers of deer. This table is one of his most imaginative and extraordinary biomorphic designs. Its fluid undulation and asymmetrical apertures catch our attention everywhere.
Mollino's personal statement about his work aptly sums up his thoughts: "The best explanation of one's work is contained in its quiet ostentation."
Carlo Mollino defined himself as "an aerodynamic surrealist", and his interest in flight and aerial acrobatics can be seen in the constructive forms of this table.
