The seat and backrest Lounge shell is made of moulded laminated wood, plywood with black pigmented walnut wood. / Ottoman, in moulded laminated wood and is plywood in black pigmented walnut wood.

The Lounge Chair is one of Charles and Ray Eames ' best-known designs. This armchair and ottoman were born in 1956 and have become a classic in the history of modern furniture.
Produced by Vitra, the Lounge Chair combines the utmost in comfort, with the highest quality in materials and finishes. Charles and Ray Eames were inspired by the traditional English club chair, which as Charles Eames said wanted it to feel like a soft, used baseball glove.
Padding / upholstery: Removable cushions upholstered in leather.
Armrests: fixed to the seat and backrest shells by metal and rubber joints (shock absorbers).
Base: Aluminum swivel lounge / non-swivel ottoman.
Upholstery: Premium F leather.
There are two dimensions: Classic dimensions and new (larger) dimensions, at the same price.
