It is a design created by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for the Danish firm, an original and sculptural seat with soft and fun shapes that you can add to your living room, bedroom or even in the waiting room or reception of your business. It brings great personality and character to the space where it is placed.
The Hippo armchair rests on two robust legs and a wooden profile that connects the seat and backrest, which in marked contrast to the soft shapes is hard and strong.
The Hippo series of Norr11 is influenced by the mammal Hippopotamus which is based on its barrel-shaped torsos. The characteristic wooden leg profile comes in four different oak finishes; natural, light smoked, dark smoked, and black, and the seat and back come in a variety of upholstery options.
