The Gaulino armchair by BD appears on the scene many years after the creation of the chair of the same name. Its designer, Oscar Tusquets, has sought a new reinterpretation of the Gaulino chair by achieving the same visual lightness for this small armchair of low height but with greater width.
Solid ash wood and leather are the main materials that give it shape.
Oscar Tusquets is in charge of the creation of the Gaulino armchair, he sought to create a light, low seat in wood and leather, after several tests and prototypes the armchair began to resemble the Gaulino chair, so he was finally inspired by the chair from the same collection that he had already designed for BD Barcelona a few years ago.
The ergonomics and comfort of the seat and the similarity in its design make it a worthy heir to designs by Gaudí and Molino.
The Gaulino armchair was born as a natural evolution of the iconic Gaulino chair, lower and wider to allow a totally new use. It serves as an armchair but is visually very light.
It is made with a structure and backrest in solid natural varnished ash, black lacquered or coral red lacquered with a seat in natural, black or tan leather respectively.
Felt plugs are included.
