Hans J. Wegner's CH25 is one of the first four seats he designed for Carl Hansen & Søn in his first three weeks with the company in 1950.
The leg profile of Hans J. Wegner's CH25 probably gives this classic chair its most distinctive feature. The wide armrests add to the comfort of the CH25 and make it easy to get up.
It takes 10 hours of work and more than 400 meters of paper rope to make the CH25. The woven paper rope for the seat and backrest was not known at the time. Paper cable was actually a substitute material used during the war.
The paper cable is available in natural or black color.
