Turquoise Naga Rug - Gan Rugs

This is the Turquoise Naga rug, a handmade piece braided with thick strips of colored felt. The meandering way in which some pieces pass over each other, generates a colorful mosaic. Created by GAN's design team, the carpet is named Naga in reference to the semi-divine beings from Hindu mythology who are depicted with snake bodies.

This version alternates felt pieces in two shades of gray, white, and turquoise, all intertwined by hand in a similar way to the braiding of certain bracelets. It is available in two sizes as well as in indigo blue tones.
