Dune Tray - Kartell

The Dune tray is different, what is the use of a tray if it does not move the person who sees it, observes it, uses it, remembers it? What is the purpose of a tray that is only useful for carrying things? The translucent material of these trays, sculpted from the inside, varies in colour and light intensity. This is how it generates a magical three-dimensional illusion at the base where glasses and cups rest. On these trays there are images that fluctuate, like a stream, a river of lava, the flame of fire. Images animated by the whims of air and light, such as the waves of the sea, the dunes of the desert, the iridescent reflections of silk. These rainbow-colored trays are the first items in a family of small objects that have been devised and designed to give unexpected emotions. It is now also available in a metallic finish.
