Quaderna 2830 desk table designed by Superstudio for Zanotta.
With the Quaderna desk you will not leave anyone indifferent and you will perform your work very comfortably.
The Quaderna desk design by Superstudio for Zanotta. The desk is characterized by simple and perfect shapes. Designed by Superstudio in 1966, a group founded in Florence by Cristiano Toraldo di Francia and Adolfo Natalin. This table has been produced since 1970 by Zanotta uninterruptedly.
Quaderna was designed in an era of then-brilliant Italian architecture, one of the most seen architectural objects in the long history of furniture, and which finds Aurelio Zanotta ready to transform it into a myth. A unique and unrepeatable family of furniture.
The Quaderna table, a true cult object, enters the sphere of Radical Design, a movement that was born in the region of Tuscany and later spread internationally between the sixties and seventies with the intention of revolutionizing the way of doing architecture, projecting and designing.
The first to start this revolution was Ettore Sottsass and through him the "radicals" discovered the design potential of design. Among them Archizoom and Superstudio, Ufo and Pettena.
