The Milo CM mirror is a design by Carlo Mollino from 1938, for the Italian brand Zanotta. Milo CM together with the small Carlino CM, also in Zanotta, both designed for the House of Miller, represent the expression of Carlo Mollino's concept of beauty, of great subtlety and sweetness in its elegant and sinuous lines. Like all his designs, this Milo mirror is sculptural and perfectly aesthetic.
They are two pieces of furniture that go beyond the limits of design and become fantastic crosses: "strange, nervous, intelligent and maniacal beings" (Gio Ponti, Domus magazine no. 238).
Made of flat glass with the silhouette of the Venus de Milo, with a stainless steel ratchet for hanging.
Milo CM is a ratchet mirror in stainless steel, light and sensual at the same time, reminiscent of the sinuous shapes of the Venus de Milo.
