The Tong ice tong is true to simplicity and functionalism, André Ricard designed this ice cube tong at a time when plastic was a relatively new material. For the designer, it was an opportunity to re-propose a product that had always been manufactured in the same way, mostly made of steel or wood, and the function was exercised by movement from an axis, or return from a spring effect.

Ricard's design resolves the function of the gripper from the shape itself. Take advantage of the combination of the lever and the flexibility of plastic itself with a masterful solution.
