Rafael Marquina designed the anti-drip Marquina oil bottle in 1961, one of the most emblematic and recognized products of Spanish design, an iconic product that has been copied all over the world.

The oil company ingeniously solves the dripping oil, a masterful solution that until then had not been solved by oil companies. A transparent, stable and precise product that contains the essence of the best design. Rafael Marquina effectively reinterprets an object of everyday and domestic use that is deeply rooted in Mediterranean culture and tradition. The double conical shape, a large cone that works as a container for the liquid and a small, reverse cone that collects the drip and acts as a funnel for the filling, becomes the best way to hold the oil bottle without the need to design a handle to do so. The base of the container is wide, making it a stable and safe object.

The Marquina oil company that is now produced by Nanimarquina company run by his daughter Nani, was previously published and sold by Mobles 114, is the only one authorized by its author and is the one that responds to the original design that won the ADI-FAD Gold Delta award in 1961 and the 25 years Gold Delta in 1986.

Nanimarquina has re-edited it, guaranteeing its authenticity by respecting the proportions of the original design, as well as including the author's signature on its base.
