Kilim Lattice 2 - Nanimarquina

The lattice 2 kilim weave designed by the Bouroullec brothers uses a basic pattern, rhythmically reproduced, to give rise to a harmonious succession of blue and grey colours. Balance, proportion and irregularity are the key elements in the controlled disorder that transforms this network into a unique creation.

"Carpets are commonly conceived as a surface on which a motif is scattered. However, in the case of Lattice, the motif is defined as a construction system that allows the shape of the carpet to be generated. The band system in which motif, shape and colour are intimately combined creates a different perimeter." – explains Bouroullec.

Conservation and cleaning: it is recommended to vacuum at least once a week. Prevent stains from drying and apply the most appropriate solution to remove them. Do not take carpets to the dry cleaners too often. If it is essential, make sure that they are specialized dry cleaners. It can be dry cleaned.
