AJ Floor Lamp - Louis Poulsen

The AJ floor lamp emits a perfect light to use as a reading lamp, also as a support light in the living room or in a room, helping you to create that contemporary design atmosphere you are looking for.

Jacobsen designed the AJ floor and wall lamps in 1957 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, where they formed an integral part of the design concept of the hotel as a whole, one of Arne Jacobsen's most popular lamps.

The AJ floor lamp emits the light downwards. The angle of the screen, which also rotates, can be adjusted to optimize the light distribution. The screen is painted in white on the inside to ensure a soft and comfortable light emission, it incorporates a switch. This lamp has become an icon of contemporary design.
