Office Desk is the classic desk from the firm Karakter, an original design by Bodil Kjaer from 1959.
Its simplistic and minimalist aesthetic draws attention to its large oak or walnut wood top with a floating appearance on a simple metal structure of coated or brushed stainless steel.
From the Danish furniture brand Karakter present us with a classic desk or work table design, the Office Desk designed by Bodil Kjær in 1959.
It is one of the first designs of the firm created by a Danish designer that has become a classic that will not go out of style, it stands out for being a desk or work table with a simplistic aesthetic that simulates a floating aspect of the board, which offers drawers inside to store papers and small accessories.
It is produced with oak or walnut veneer top with transparent varnish and red or grey powder steel structure, or in the case of the walnut version the leg is made of brushed stainless steel.
As a curiosity, Bodil Kjærs' design has been called "The Most Beautiful Desk in the World", or "James Bond's Desk", as he featured prominently in three of the early Bond films.
