On one of her trips to the South American continent, Nanna Ditzel, a modernist designer born in Denmark, was inspired by the decorative architecture on the Gingerbread facades that allowed for an exceptional play of shadows and light. Thus, the Trinidad chair with its detailed openwork creates a sense of movement in a space while freeing the visual density of the wooden design. With the Trinidad chair, Nanna Ditzel maintained the ornamentation, contrary to modernism, as a distinctive point of this design and which was a defining element of the DNA Fredericia.
Trinidad Chair has become a popular choice in concert halls and auditoriums in addition to numerous private spaces. We propose the Trinidad 3398 Chair version without armrests, wood veneer shell and chrome structure.
