Tip Ton Chair - Vitra

The Tip Ton chair is a design by Barber & Osgerby for Vitra that defines a new type of chairs: chairs made entirely of synthetic material and that can also lean forward. Its name refers to the double characteristic of the seating position: starting from its normal position, Tip Ton can lean forward until it is stopped in a position tilted a few degrees to the front.

The innovation responsible for this seemingly simple action lies in the 9° upward tilt of the front of the skates. The forward-leaning seating posture, which until now was limited to mechanical office chairs, straightens the pelvis and spine, improving blood circulation to the muscles of the abdomen and back.

In addition, thanks to its characteristic look, Tip Ton looks great on the dining table, home office, in restaurants or in educational institutions and meeting and conference rooms. Stackable up to four chairs.
