The CH24 Children's Wishbone Chair is a chair suitable for children from the age of three. Although smaller, the chair is no less complex to manufacture, as downscaling has been especially difficult to perform. The components cannot simply be reduced in the same proportion, it requires its own dimensions to maintain the original expression of the chair and achieve a perfect result.

This special edition celebrates the 110th anniversary of Hans J. Wegner's birth in 2024, reaffirming the timelessness and impact of his design on contemporary furniture. The little CH24 Children's Wishbone has been the star of the Milan 2024 furniture fair.

The CH24 Children's Wishbone Chair is a scale version of the iconic CH24 chair designed by Hans J. Wegner. This chair was created in 1949 and has been continuously produced by Carl Hansen & Søn since 1950. Popularly known as the "Wishbone Chair" or "Y Chair" due to its distinctive Y-shaped backrest, this children's version maintains the complexity and craftsmanship of the original.

The child seat is designed for children from three years old and retains the elaborate structure that requires 14 components and more than a hundred production steps, most of them made by hand. The seat is hand-woven, using 75 meters of thinner paper rope for a lighter appearance, adapted to the reduced dimensions of the chair.

Material: Solid oak wood structure. Natural color paper rope seat.

Wood finish specifications: Oiled finish: 12% gloss (backlit viewed). Open pore. No fingers are marked.

Measurements: Total height 51 x seat height 29.5 x width 38 x depth 34 cm.
