The Iris coat rack is designed by George Sowden for Memphis Milano, specifically for his other Post Design brand.
The husband and wife team formed by Nathalie Du Pasquier and George Sowden are once again forming a creative couple to present a new project called MATERIALISM.
It is made up of furniture, ceramics and carpets. Almost all of them limited editions of 25 or 36 units. A collection of bold, colorful and geometric pieces.
It is not the first time they have worked together, as founding members of the Memphis Group, they participated in the first exhibition that was held in Milan in September 1981. They participated in subsequent exhibitions until the group disbanded in 1986.
In 1997, Memphis realized that he could no longer use the Memphis Milano name for his new products and developed the Post Design brand.
