The Piuma chair from Kartell is a very light, flexible and resistant design that withstands outdoor weather conditions. Available in 6 different colors: white, gray, sage green, mustard, rust orange and black. Peso Pluma, that's what this chair could be called. Piero Lissoni designs the Piuma chair for Kartell, being one of the most revolutionary and audacious products so far in the evolution of technologies and materials Kartell.
Kartell has been achieved, thanks to a complicated and innovative technology, to bring the seat to a minimum thickness of a few millimeters (2 mm maximum) for a result of a very light seat (only 2.2 kg) using carbon fiber, being the first time that this material is used in injection molding.
The result is a chair that is not only light and thin, but also incredibly strong, flexible and can be used outdoors.
Material: complex thermoplastic polymer loaded with carbon fibers.
