The firm Vitra presents us with the limited edition of the Wooden Doll nº1 Super Large decorative figures. A larger-scale representation of the wooden dolls designed by Alexander Girard in the 50s that have gained so much success and recognition over the years.
They are produced by hand with solid fir wood and painted by hand.
It is a numbered series and limited to 1000 units for the whole world.
The limited edition Wooden Dolls Super Large decorative figures by Vitra, designed by Alexander Girard, are a family of carved wooden dolls that represent various human and animal characters in a very artistic and decorative way.
Girard originally made these decorative objects for his own home in Santa Fe in 1952. They are currently produced by the firm Vitra and belong to its Vitra Design Museum collection.
With a scale of 4.15:1, the Wooden Dolls No. 1 and No. 9 Super large transform small decorative figures into daring characters about 80 centimeters high, which take center stage in any environment.
The limited edition of the super large Wooden Dolls are made of solid fir wood and hand-painted, as well as the smaller versions, they are faithful representations of Alexander Girard's originals. Each copy is unique and may have small differences with other products as they are made by hand.
The Wooden Dolls super large figures from Vitra are numbered and limited to 1000 pieces per model.
